Too Young to Test in Oregon and LA School Issues

United Teachers of Los Angeles talk about privatization and impending strike, and Oregon alliance for public education discuss ending testing for the youngest students on the December Education Town Hall BUS.

First half: Cecily Myart Cruz, Vice President of the United Teachers of Los Angeles NEA, to talk about the potential upcoming LA strike and how they are fighting back against school privatization. Learn more at Movement for Los Angeles Schools Students Deserve.

Second half: Roscoe Caron, retired middle school teacher and a member of Community Alliance for Public Education (CAPE) in Eugene, Oregon. Denisha Jones, Education Town Hall regular and representative for Defending the Early Years, will discuss DEY’s statement in support of the legislation.
