Standardized Testing, Equity, Health Curriculum and more with DC’s State Board President and VP

Jack Jacobson, president, and Karen Williams, vice president, of DC’s State Board of Education, discussed the new PARCC test in DC, the ongoing national and urban district NAEP comparisons, efforts to limit testing, and equity on the October 29 Education Town Hall. Topics also included GED- and competency-based state high school diplomas as well as the need for a new health curriculum.
