Student Organizing for Safety in DC Schools

Students and staff of Black Swan Academy join the June Education Town Hall to discuss issues around safety and youth-centered organizing in DC schools. In addition to co-hosts Thomas Byrd and Valerie Jablow, participants were

  • Samantha Davis, founder and executive director of Black Swam Academy
  • Ceon Dubose, lead organizer*
  • Samaria Short, Eastern HS grad and Black Swan Ambassador*
