DC’s Education Budget

DC budget watchers Emily Mechner and Mary Levy discuss recent budget decisions, how they evolved, and prospects for schools in the coming year and beyond. Mechner is a DCPS parent, member of the Local School Advisory Team for Oyster-Adams Bilingual School, and an economist. Levy is a budget analyst with decades of experience explaining and litigating school budgets in DC and other jurisdictions.

Valerie Jablow, long-time District resident and DCPS parent, founder of EducationDC blog, and new member of the Education Town Hall team, produced this segment. Listen for more of her contributions in the future.
