July BUS: Quality of Worklife Survey, Unfair Terminations, and BAT Congress

Lori, a member of the BadAss Teachers’ Association Quality of Worklife survey team and a veteran teacher from Hudson Valley, NY, joined the Education Town Hall on Thursday, July 30 to discuss the American Federation of Teachers-BAT national survey. Conversation included the Atlantic’s “pee and poop” article on the survey — background here. Gus Morales, a Holyoke, MA, teacher, updated listeners on legal action following his second job dismissal for what he believes is retaliation for his outspoken activism. Joining both conversations was Denisha Jones, Education Town Hall regular and national leader in all three BUS organizations.
