In honor of National School Choice Week, the Education Town Hall hosted Marla Massey Kilfoyle, General Manager for the Badass Teachers’ Association; Melissa Tomlinson, another BadAss — made famous as the teacher who was photographed with Governor Chris Christie’s finger pointed in her face; and Denisha Jones, Howard University professor and Badass Teacher.
All three participated via remote connection. In studio were Nate Bennett-Fleming, candidate for DC Council At-Large (next to feature reporter, Virginia Spatz), and Shelonda Tillman, education consultant and candidate for Ward 6 Councilmember (next to host, Thomas Byrd).
